Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaQuite an impressive looking bottle for such an affordable price, this malbec comes from Uco Valley's Altamira, and sandy loamy soils over stones. After 2 weeks maceration and fermentation in stainless, this aged in 2nd and 3rd use French barrels for 10 months. Fragrant cherries and violets greet the perfumed nose, and carry through the silken palate, woven with fresh cassis and black plum, finishing with a kiss of smoked stone.
