Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is an impressive effort from Tinhorn. It’s a more restrained Blanc de Blancs, offering a combination of dried lemon peel and green apple alongside yogurt and toasted brioche, with just a whisper of tertiary character going on five years from vintage. The lean, crisp styling, finished with a classic Brut dosage (6 g/L), will pair well with simply prepared oysters. Enjoy now or over the next two years.Tasted: 28 November 2023Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2018 was slightly below the five year average for heat in the Okanagan Valley, leaving the crucial final weeks of the harvest cool enough to force a long, slow ripening period ideal for chardonnay. This Blanc de Blanc (truly, Blanc de Blancs) was handpicked, whole cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel before it was aged on its lees for three years. This is the real deal, a stylish collaboration between viticulturist Andrew Moon and winemaker Leandro and an excellent addition to the top of the BC sparkling wine market. The nose wafts out of the glass perfectly, pitching tangerine mixed with white flowers and and citrus. The palate is similar, with fine concentration and more creamy, brioche in the finish. Love this.Tasted: 05 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
