Coastal Region, South AfricaFrom 15-20 year old vines around the Coastal Region, this was destemmed and fermented in stainless over 15 days, prior to heading to 80% French / 20% American (30% new overall) to continue MLF and have a 14 months' rest prior to the final blend. Sticky / pasty tannins frame a silken palate of black plum, mulberry, and cherry, trailing off with a grippy and bitter tomato leaf and tobacco end.
