Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLost Horn Vineyard hails from Okanagan Falls, where its gravelled clay loams and clone 21b riesling seem ideally suited to each other. At 32 years of age, these vines have a purpose, and with simple winemaking and five months on the lees, this is an impressive riesling. Its generous 25 grams of residual sugar is almost completely tamed by its 9.8 grams of total acidity. It leaves a lively fresh orchard fruit affair pitching yellow fruits, lime rind, gooseberry, and tangerine.
