Rigour and Whimsy Return to the Beginning 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Secrest Mountain Vineyard (ex-of OCP) comes this deeper hued chardonnay, with tight lemon, roasted almond, lemon blossoms sharpened with a flor-esque character, and bumped with RS, leaving it streamlined and off-dry and quite apple juice on the finish. The chardy was whole cluster pressed and barrel aged on full solids. When the ferment stopped, leaving some residual sugar, Costa decided it worked with the wine, and left it as is.
