Sicily, ItalyAraldica is a 3rd gen, family-operated co-op based in Piedmont, working with over 230 growers. This comes from their Sicilian project, and is catarratto from the northwest of the island, rooted in chalky soils at 500m. This is done in stainless to preserve the bright fruit. Quite subtle, with ripe melon, orange creamsicle, Asian pear, and lemon verbena running along a brief palate, finishing with light spices.
