Errazuriz Aconcagua Costa Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Aconcagua Costa, Valle de Aconcagua, Region de Aconcagua, ChileI've been a fan of this wine since it was released, but for whatever reason, it faded in and out of the market for years with no consistency. From Aconcagua Costa, with vineyards only a few kilometres from the Pacific, the fruit is all cool climate, and the result, fermented and briefly aged in stainless on its lees, is a super crisp white packed full of passionfruit, fresh cut green apples, asparagus, drenched in lime pith. The lees add some texture, and a wisp of white pepper lights up the finish. A fabulous seafood wine, be it shellfish or the day's catch.
