Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesA somewhat expansive style of pinot gris with lovely ripe pear and melon but not a lot of acid. It is still acceptable for its age but lacks a bit of zip on the palate. The fruit is sourced from Dundee Hills, Willamette, and is fully ready to drink. It is rich enough to take on veal cutlets or aged cheeses. I would like to taste a younger version of this wine for comparison.Tasted: 08 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesRipe melon, pear, red apple rule this fuller, softer pinot gris, from one of Oregon's pioneering wineries. Subtle ginger spices close out the just off-dry finish. Simple and friendly.Tasted: 12 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
