Covert Farms Rosé 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis blend of merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon organically and regeneratively farmed Mimi's Block and Coyote Block on their spectacular 650-acre bluff overlooking Oliver. The grapes were co-fermented and bled off skins (providing the medium peach hue) before aging for four months on lees in stainless. Ripe and expansive on the fuller (14%) off-dry palate, this carries sun-sweetened strawberries and raspberries, subtle blood orange, along a glycerol-decked palate, finishing with a dusting of spice.
