Wairau Valley, Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandAn expressive, pure nose of yellow pear, white peach, and lemon, with a subtle flintiness. It's very much a leaner expression of pinot gris, but without feeling stylistically forced, as there's lovely depth and balance here. Crisp acidity carries the textured palate, with concentration well above the norm. Very good length. A great buy at this price. Recommended.Tasted: 09 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
Wairau Valley, Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThis fresh and zippy pinot gris from Marlborough opens with subtle reductive notes followed by crunchy yellow apple and lemongrass, layered with green beans and a hint of stony minerality. A lean and fairly delicate palate finishes with fine leesy notes and citrusy pithiness.Tasted: 26 July 2023Tasted by: Prices:
