Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Coyote Bowl single vineyard syrah is grown over gravel and sandy loams on the Black Sage Bench. The fermentation is all stainless steel, spending only 12 months in 45 percent new French oak barriques. The attack is aromatic and juicy, mixed with mint and jalapeno on the nose, cranberries, and blueberries on the palate, along with smoke and licorice. A perfect foil to lamb chops. Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Black Sage Bench's Coyote Bowl vineyard, and its sandy gravels, this syrah was aged 18 months in French barrels (45% new). Rafts of cracked black pepper ride waves of ripe cassis, blackberry, and black plum, framed with plush, lightly sticky tannins.
