In 2020 the chardonnay is all Monterey County, home of some of California's coolest fruit. The more extended growing season leads to intense flavours. In this case, there has been an oak intervention of French and American wood, plus a complete malolactic fermentation, lowering the acidity. It begins with fresh citrus tempered with vanilla, and a mix of melon and creamy vanilla on the palate, with a bit of pineapple and some drying resiny notes in the finish. Ready to drink.
