Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Moraine Sophia Vineyard Pinot Noir comes off the home estate on the Naramata Bench. It is clone 777 Pinot Noir “that has been cultivated and cared for with white gloves.” It is hand harvested and fermented whole berry, leaving a remarkably silky soft texture left unscathed by gentle, hand punch downs. Floreal with intense Bing and Ranier cherries, this carries just a hint of toasted oak. How delicious is this to sip? A fraction of tannin only reminds that this will be even better in a few years.
