Modest Wines La Graves Robber Sauvignon Blanc / Sémillon 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNo need to be modest here. This is delicious stuff and a tip of the hat to Bordeaux whites, most of which are gathering dust on retail store shelves. The creative team went down the road to Graves, robbing the sauvignon and sémillon blend (79/21) and impishly labelling it La Graves Robber. No wood is in sight again, resulting in a bright, shiny, fresh, crisp white that dances on the palate. The Okanagan Falls fruit brings a wealth of flavours, from gooseberry and passionfruit to lime pith and grapefruit.
