Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaUnion is a 73/22/5 merlot, cabernet franc, and malbec blend that punches above its 13.6 percent alcohol but in a good way. The palate is juicy and fresh with a mix of bright acid and brambleberries streaked with dried herbs, roasted meat, and spices, all in a pleasing medium-weight style.
