His son, Sergio, oversees the operations of their 600 hectares today. This Classico Riserva blends 90% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot into a generous red redolent with bitter cherry, black raspberry, and tobacco, tinged with ferrous notes and framed by firm and cedar-hewn tannins to an espresso finish.
