Drouhin Vaudon Chablis 2020
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceAt a modest 12.5 percent alcohol, the aromatics are pronounced with plenty of green apples, white flowers, and wet stone. Bright, crisp and bursting with citrus and flinty mineral, oysters on the half shell are the match. Since 2008 the Vaudon name can be found on all Joseph Drouhin Chablis, a nod to an old water mill on the river Serein owned by the family. The grapes for this label come off a 6-hectare block on the right bank of the Vauvilien Valley, sandwiched between the Premier Cru vineyards of Mont de Milieu and Montée de Tonnerre.Tasted: 26 February 2023Tasted by: Prices:BC | $43.99 | 750ml | Marquis Wine Cellars and select private retailers |
