Chablis, Burgundy, FranceDrouhin has been around since the 1880s, with the current generation's great grandfather starting the business as a negociant. In the early 20th century the family started as winemakers, purchasing and planting their first vineyards in the early 1960s. From a mix of estate and purchased fruit, this classic Chablis was fermented and rested on lees in stainless over 7-8 months. Slick lemon and pear glide along a streamlined palate, bedded with river stones, and trailing off with a subtle saline and anise scented finish.
