Finite x Fogolar Cabernet Franc 2019
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFrom Vinemount Ridge's Picone Vineyard, this cab franc was entirely whole cluster, covered with a layer of crushed cab franc and allowed to rest for 72 days. It completed MLF and aging in neutral French oak for 1 year prior to bottling without fining, filtration, or additional sulphur added. Herbal and earthy, with perfumed musk, blackberry, thorns on a plumped, medium bodied palate. Tannins are soft and sticky, and acidity is herbal tart.
