Two Tradesmen Red Wine 2017
California, United StatesThis Paso red blend is anything but small, though coincidentally petite sirah and petit verdot are the dominant grape varieties. Expect dark, brooding fruits that push into the fig and prune spectrum, with a touch of mint and cedary tertiary development nearly six years on from vintage. It's rich and impressively concentrated, albeit a bit heavy, with dense but suave tannins that are nicely resolved. Serve this with a light chill to tamper the warming alcohol, and pair with hearty grilled fare. If you're in the mood for a big, bold red, you can't go wrong here, especially at this price.Tasted: 18 February 2023Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:BC | $26.99 | 750ml | select private retailers |
