Joseph Drouhin Mâcon-Villages 2020

Mâconnais, Burgundy, FranceThe Drouhin Mâcon-Villages is a simple but well made chardonnay in 2020 that hails from the Mâconnais region of Bourgogne. Mâcon-Villages is an appellation name given to 26 communes that produce wines a step up in quality from the regional Mâcon title. Rising prices in Bourgogne have given this sub-app a new lease on life, not to mention a significant improvement in winemaking over the last decade. This 2020 comes with a fresh nose of pear and citrus and a round, easy sipping palate with a mix of citrus, pear butter, and a light nutty finish. A seafood pasta dish is a good match. This is ready to drink.Tasted: 26 February 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
