Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard Mundus Bacillus Vino de Parcela Malbec 2019

Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaAdrianna Vineyard Mundus Bacillus Terrae is certified organic since 2018. It was planted in 1992 at 1,390 meters above sea level in Gualtallary's alluvial limestone soils. Seventy-five percent of this wine is fermented in concrete vats, and the remainder is in oak foudres. Like other high-end concrete-fermented wines, this is all about texture and length. The fruit is ripe, but you don’t notice any sweet fruit. The vineyard's latitude ensures plenty of acidity and freshness in the wine, and the dense, soft tannins combine to give it a long life ahead in the bottle. Complex, natural, iconic, and a benchmark for the region’s top malbecs.Tasted: 24 February 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
