Veneto, ItalyThis wine hails from a Unesco World Heritage site in the hills of Valdobiadene. The style is extra dry, aka medium sweet, with residual sugar. Expect a welcoming tropical fruit nose and bright, bubbly apple, pear, and mineral notes. On the palate, the flavours are reminiscent of a fresh fruit salad. It pairs well with imbriago, a local cheese born during the war when the wheels of cheese were hidden from the enemy under the spent skins of the prosecco after pressing.
