Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaThis year’s Field Blend Red is a mix of pinot noir, cabernet franc, and what is described as “a whit of chardonnay". The bouquet is a lightly fragrant affair of cherries and a desert undercurrent. The palate is juicy and lively with a subtle mix of red cherries, tobacco, and pepper, but nothing out of balance. The finish is soft and almost glossy, with a lovely sense of elegance. A perfect partner to grilled chicken or salmon. Impressive for the price.
