Uppercase Cabernet Franc 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit came from Osoyoos and is fermented in a wooden vat, then aged 16 months in French oak (30 percent new). The style is full throttle from a rich, savoury nose of black fruit and spice to a palate of dark cherries, brambleberries, dark chocolate, espresso beans, and oak tannins. The winemaking is solid if uneventful, but that is probably good for a new producer. This is a big red you can pour now with equally rich food or give it three to five years to settle in and show its best.Tasted: 21 December 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $39.99 | 750ml | winery direct, select private wine shops |
