Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Reserve Syrah is a limited release small batch wine aged in the finest French oak barrels. On the surface, it presented more depth and a somewhat firmer structure, with denser, sweeter tannins and increased spice. Look for a wild wine with a light peppery meaty style, all with a touch of leanness and reserve. In many ways, it portrays the power and weight of syrah, but it has a certain elegance that catches you by surprise and that tempers its wild terroir.
