Liber Farm and Winery Off Your Rocker 2019
Cawston, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLiber Farms has a gently sloping west-facing organic vineyard in the Similkameen winery overlooking the Similkameen River. It is one of the oldest organic farms in BC, dating back to the 1960s. Seven acres were planted to chardonnay and merlot in 2007 – the latter is what goes into Off Your Rocker. Winemaker Mike Liber says, “the wine is our salute to all those who march to their beat and follow their dreams. You can expect a stylish, easy-drinking merlot with savoury, plummy/black fruit, bits of dark chocolate and soft tannins and wild desert Similkameen scrub and spice. Drink or hold; there is no rush.
