Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyOne of three special black label Brunello from organic Le Ragnaie in 2017, the Vigna del lume Spento omes from one of the highest spots in the appellation. This Sangiovese was native fermented in concrete prior to spending 3 years in 25 hl Slavonian oak vats. Perfumed black cherry, wild raspberry flood a lifted, silken palate, framed with scrubby herbs and scented with dried and fresh red florals. Acidity is red currant snappy, and tannins are long and lithe through a tomato finish.
