Mt. Boucherie Reserve Chardonnay 2021
Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLazy River Vineyard in South Cawston, Similkameen Valley, is home to this rich chardonnay. Post ferment, it spends 13 months in 50 percent new oak, the latter still leaving an impression on this wine. The nose is a melange of peach and pineapple with a dollop of vanilla floating on a creamy texture. It has some of that Similkameen freshness, 12.6 alcohol, and some desert scrub to keep it all together as the oak dissipates.
