François Pinon Les Trois Argiles Vouvray 2019
Vouvray, Touraine, Loire, FranceFrançois, a former child psychologist, took over the Vallée de Cousse, Vouvray estate from his father in 1987, and is now joined by his son, Julien. The 37 acres of vineyards are dedicated to organic viticulture and minimal intervention vinification. This comes from flinty clays over limestone bed rock, and was native fermented. Waxen and relaxed, with waves of honeysuckle, white honey, white truffle, quince along a creamy, just off-dry palate, lit with a fine buzzy underlay, and lingering with subtle mineral salts. Really complete, drinking beautifully now.Tasted: 23 November 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $43.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
