Champagne Forget-Brimont Brut Rosé NV
Champagne, FranceFrom 6th generation Champenoise Michel Forget's 1er Cru vineyards in Chigny les Roses, Coulommes la Montagne, Ludes, Montbre, Sermiers, Taissy and Villers-Allerand, this blends 40% each of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, with 20% Chardonnay. The cuvée employees 6% still red wine, and up to 50% reserve wines, 10 vintages deep. This was fermented in stainless prior to heading to bottle and 30 months' rest sur lattes, dosed with 10 g/L RS. Pouring a deep blush / salmon hue, this gentle rosé carries cherry, strawberry leather, wild raspberry, across a finely creamy palate, to a quieter spiced finish.
