Sicily, ItalyZio Paolo is the first wine that Vito made and it takes its name from the vineyard, the expansive land around Alcamo. This organic Nero d’Avola grows on clays, and was fermented and aged 1 year in stainless. Wild scrubby herbs and flowers teem throughout this Mediterranean red, coursing through wild raspberry, wild blackberry, cherry, with a faint ferrous medicinal hint.
