Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a much more complete version of cabernet, linear and long with warmer, richer, more California styling, except with some juicy acidity to keep it all fresh. Look for cassis, assorted black fruits, some dusty stone, pencil lead and spice throughout. As big as it is in youth, it exhibits some signs of elegance, and with such youthful balance, it is safe to say this wine will age effortlessly for a decade. Perfect with grilled steaks and chimichurri sauce at this point, or roasted vegetables.
