Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis pinot noir comes from Kozier Organic Vineyard in the Naramata Bench, and was fermented and aged in neutral French barrels for 10 months. Fleshy cherry, ripe raspberry fill a juicy, medium bodied palate, bright with acidity and seasoned with subtle sweet baking spice. Tannins are fine and soft, taking this to a bitter edged raspberry finish. Very pure, and ready for enjoying now with mushrooms / pork / salmon.Tasted: 21 January 2023Tasted by: Prices:
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe west facing 15-acre organic Kozier Vineyard was planted in 2007 on the Naramata Bench, 4 km north of the winery. In 2018 the wine was perfectly balanced, pitching forest floor, earthy mushrooms, with red fruit. The silk textures speak to almost spent tannins, leaving it ready to drink. Perfect for a grilled salmon, winter stew, or a sage and brown butter gnocchi dish.Tasted: 29 October 2022Tasted by: Prices:
