Livio Felluga Ribolla Gialla 2021

Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ItalyLivio Felluga is one of the most respected producers of Friuli, dedicating his life to reviving high-quality and sustainable viticulture in the hills of this north-eastern, Adriatic-influenced Italian countryside. He emigrated from Istria and established his property in Brazzano in the 1950s, buying up old, neglected vineyards and rejuvenating them. Rooted in ponca soils, this was native fermented in stainless, where it remained on lees for a few months until bottling. Fleshy pear, greengage, lime leaf, and river stones slide along the sleek frame, finishing with a fine textural grip and lime pith. A leaner version of ribolla gialla, with lovely tension throughout.Tasted: 21 October 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
