Champagne Emile Leclerc Brut Reserve NV
Champagne, FranceChampagne Emile Leclere was founded in 1832, and is today run by 5th generation Vincent and Marie. Based in Mardeuil, they own 12 hectares of vineyards, primarily pinot meunier, chardonnay, and pinot noir. This cépage is the same as there Brut Nature (80% meunier, 20% chardonnay), though with 8 g/L dosage. It aged 3 years sur lattes prior to release. Ripe red apple, lemon, meringue and light toast stream through this bright fizz, with a doughy core, and snappy, chalky finish.
