British Columbia, CanadaIf we take this wine at its word or label it an easy sipping, everyday red, which is mostly right but in the end, it’s a syrah, so it’s a touch more than that. Post ferment it spends one year in neutral oak to give it oxygen resulting in a cushy, savoury, blackberry, plum jam red with a modicum of pepper in the finish. This is ready to drink, hence the simply social moniker, and would be a perfect partner for lamb chops or a pulled pork sandwich.Tasted: 11 August 2022Tasted by: Prices:

British Columbia, CanadaThis easy, mouth-filling south Okanagan syrah spent one year in mostly neutral oak, resulting in a plump, ripe spiced red with blackberry jam, juicy plum, toasted coconut and black pepper. Tannins are cushy, hugging this to a warming, soft, red currant finish. Crack into now with lamb burgers.Tasted: 16 October 2022Tasted by: Prices:
