Backyard Vineyards Simply Social Syrah 2019
British Columbia, CanadaIf we take this wine at its word or label it an easy sipping, everyday red, which is mostly right but in the end, it’s a syrah, so it’s a touch more than that. Post ferment it spends one year in neutral oak to give it oxygen resulting in a cushy, savoury, blackberry, plum jam red with a modicum of pepper in the finish.
