Viñátigo Gual 2020
Tenerife, Canary Islands, SpainYou may know gual by its more familiar name on Madeira: bual. But the variety plays a supporting role here; it's volcanic wine through and through. It's smoky and saline, supported by honeyed yellow apples and perfumed acacia. The palate is textured and concentrated, with notable dry extract that's beautifully balanced by crisp acidity. Few wines can take you to a place like this.Tasted: 09 September 2022Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:ON | $27.95 | 750ml | consignment |
