East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis 2016 syrah from Black Sage Bench grapes spent 22 months in barrel and 20 months in bottle prior to release. It’s more of an Old World style syrah that shows a lifted nose of wild red and black berries and a savoury, gamey character layered with evolved woodsy notes and forest floor.
