Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom this sparkling-centric winery's Greata Ranch estate vineyard in central Okanagan, this chardonnay was fermented in neutral French oak, and spent 36 months on the lees, disgorged with 2.35 g/L. Layers of green apple, pastry, lemon stream through this focused wine, with orchard crisp acidity, and a lovely gentle generosity to counter. This serious sparkler, though on the stricter / severe side, is imprinted Okanagan, and that's a fantastic thing.
