Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNow in the second generation's hands, Sacha and Ann Heinecke are shifting the compass on this Similkameen stalwart, 22 years in. This is worryingly labelled "Prosecco", a term which should be used only for the Italian region in which it is grown and made. This frizzante wine is a sweet, lightly fizzy example with smoked and sweet flavours of peach, pear, and orange, though a short finish.
