Les Vignerons du Castelas Côtes du Rhône Rosé 2021

Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceThe winegrowers of Castelas created their cooperative cellar in 1952, the same year the AOC Côtes du Rhône was developed. Today, 45 families make up the cooperative. This rosé was made from a mix of 70/20/10 grenache, syrah, and cinsault. The fruit is directly pressed and fermented slowly for three weeks. The colour is a pale orange/pink, and the nose is a quiet but enticing floral affair. It is all business, dry and refreshing on the palate, with crisp red fruit and citrus. Think Mediterranean cuisine from olives to grilled fish, Asian spicy tuna rolls, or a Thai noodle salad. Good value.Tasted: 11 August 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
