Gold Hill Cabernet Franc Rosé 2021
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLike last year, the colour is a medium peach, orange tint from partial skin contact. The nose is full of ripe strawberries and a savoury sage dusting. The attack is warm and round, with caramel undertones pushing through the tangerine and red fruit. Soft and creamy, with a bump of residual sugar sweetness. Chill down and serve with spicy dishes. Two separate cabernet franc juice lots go into this wine: the first is direct pressed immediately after harvest, and the second is juice with 18 hours of skin contact.
