Amulet Rosé 2021

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Amulet pink is a blend of 50 percent grenache, 41 syrah, and nine viognier grown on the Penticton and Naramata benches in the mid-Okanagan Valley, and fermented in neutral French oak barrels. Post ferment, it rested on its gross lees for 2 1/2 months with periodic bâtonnage. Finally, in early 2022 it was racked from the barrel and blended with a small amount of viognier. This wine has an onion skin tint with an aromatic nose reminiscent of watermelons and blood oranges that spill onto a similar plate mixed with pears, pineapples, and a peppery finish. Food friendly, it was a good match for prosciutto and melons.Tasted: 13 August 2022Tasted by: Prices:
