Marche, ItalyAngelo Accadia started his organic Marche winery in Serra San Quirico in 1983, working solely with native grapes of the area. He is recognized as one of the top producers of Verdicchio, and his artistic background is evident in the winery's striking labels. His daughter Evelyn now works with him at the winery. This Riserva Classico comes off the highest parts of the vineyard (350-370m) on predominantly sandy soil. These grapes are picked later, at end of September, native fermented in stainless where it remains for two years on lees. Pours a deep yellow hue, with concentrated apple, pear, almond along a waxy palate through the lightly warming finish.
