Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe 2018 cabernet sauvignon marks a pivot for the regular Hobbs cab that moves from Napa Valley proper to Hobb's Nathan Coombs Estate vineyard in Coombsville, a cooler Napa site to the south and east of the historic valley. The colour is opaque, and the fruit is a slightly cooler red-black mix with a stony mineral underscore and some refined spicing.
