Lunessence Small Lot Series Vin Gris 2021
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis small lot Vin Gris is mostly gamay (96%) with 4% pinot noir, off their biodynamically farmed Summerland estate. The grapes were soaked on skins for 1 hour prior to 70% whole cluster pressing into 80% neutral French oak and 20% stainless. Post-MLF, this aged 5 months on lees in stainless. There's a lovely cushioned texture to this sleek, pale blush wine, with hints of strawberries, raspberries on a subtle frame, scented with delicate spice.
