Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceBeaujolais Blanc is on the rise. This chardonnay is still within Burgundy, yet costs next to nothing in comparison. Les Belmonts is an interesting example because it sees no oak, unlike almost all the other regional expressions. The story here is freshness and minerality. The favours are a mix of peach, citrus, green apple, with an enticing soft texture.
