Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThough known for their exclusive gamay and chardonnay fizz, Jay has been experimenting with small lot productions of other fun wines. This is a traditional method blend of Gew and Gamay, as the name hints. The gew saw 9 days of skin contact before being added to the gamay. The whole finished wild ferment in tank and then spent 6 months in bottle before disgorge with a small tip of sulphur and no dosage. Pouring a deep cherry hue, this charms with gew's gentle apricot and peach blossom florality woven with crunchy cherry, red currant, black tea. Ample juicy acidity streams this youthful red sparkler to a brisk, dry, white pepper finish.
